Harvey’s Launceston

With the downstairs bar due to open in days, Harveys called us in to rescue a badly failing feature wall. Decades-old paint and loose plaster were peeling away, so our first task was full preparation: every flake of paint scraped back and all friable plaster removed. We built out the deepest voids with HardWall backing plaster, then applied two coats of SBR bonding to stabilise the surface. A tight, two-coat skim followed, giving the wall a true, smooth finish ready for decoration and the grand opening—delivered on schedule, despite the last-minute call-out.
